The Faulkner Organization proudly announces the groundbreaking for the new Hyundai facility located at 11500 Roosevelt Boulevard in Northeast Philadelphia that will result in significant improvements in customer convenience, dealership efficiency and overall appearance. The existing showroom located at this site will be torn down and replaced with a 7500 s.f. state-of-the-art showroom with all the luxuries and amenities to continue to offer the best possible sales experience. The existing service building, located directly behind the showroom, will be completely renovated following the completion of the showroom.
The project will officially begin the first week in October of 2012 and is expected to be completed by summer of 2013. All Faulkner sales and service areas will remain open during the construction process with only minor inconveniences anticipated.
The Faulkner Organization acquired the Hyundai franchise in July of 2011 and the on-going success of the dealership led the company to initiate site improvements at this location.
This renovation is part of a major facilities upgrade initiative at many of the Faulkner locations. Faulkner Toyota in Trevose underwent major renovations scheduled to be completed by October of 2012.

Each year, the Faulkner Family Foundation contributes to Abington Health Foundation to support Abington Memorial Hospital. In 2012, the Faulkner Family Foundation specifically supports the Fund for Excellence in Oncology. For the fifth year in a row, the Faulkner Family Foundation sponsors and supports Fuel the Cure in its efforts to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

About Fuel the Cure-
Fuel the Cure was founded by a group of young professionals to create social fundraising events to benefit charitable organizations. Their mission is to motivate individuals to take action to increase social consciousness and charitable giving. Each year, the group organizes several large events, including an annual black-tie gala, to raise funds for various charities. This year, the efforts of Fuel the Cure will support the American Cancer Society. The Faulkner Family Foundation looks forward to working with Fuel the Cure each year.
Faulkner Toyota, Nissan, Cadillac, Buick-GMC, Hyundai and Mazda will participate in the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation’s annual coat drive, "Driving Away the Cold." In just four years, "Driving Away the Cold" has given the gift of a new winter coat to nearly 80,000 children based on donations totaling over $1.2 Million from local dealers. This year, the program hopes to donate its 100,000th coat.
For the past 4 years, the Faulkner Organization has pledged to donate a new coat to a child for every new car sold in the Philadelphia area during the month of September. This year, the Faulkner Organization pledged 513 coats.
On October 10, 2012, representatives from the Faulkner Organization will volunteer at a distribution event at the Pennsylvania Convention Center where approximately 5,000 coats will be donated to local children in need.

About the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation and the Driving Away the Cold Program-
The Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation is the philanthropic organization of the Automobile Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia. Founded in 2003, the Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children in the Delaware Valley.
